The only solution to Russia's genocidal war on Ukraine is a military solution. Nothing - absolutely nothing else will ever work. Stop wasting time and Ukrainian lives and arm Ukraine.

The premiers who come with plans about resource development are the ones who hold Canadians back. Being self reliant requires us to find value added businesses that use/need our resources. It's noe or the other, it is a combination of the best we have.

Naheed Nenshi πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ - Everyone deserves a safe, affordable place to call home. But under Danielle Smith and the UCP, that goal is slipping further out of reach: Alberta now has the worst housing affordability in the country. We can change that. #cdnpoli

Agreed! Let's start with Modi and Pollievre! Maybe we'll even discover why PP refuses to get a routine security clearance. www.cbc.ca/news/politic...

There are real reasons why Canada might need oil energy to keep ourselves warm and with light in the midst of winter. However that does not mean we abandon green energy. More thought, research, experimentation is needed to find the right balance. I want the best solution not a dictated solution.

There is literally nothing but Trump's desire to protect Putin which is keeping the USA from levelling harsh sanctions on Russia, providing Ukraine more weapons, and helping Ukraine win its war against a sub-par Russian military.

What a wonderful man. In the midst of Russian terror he protects his dog. My best hopes are with him and Dana. Slava Ukraini! Anatolia and Dana are heroes! Heroryam Slava!

This feeling is shared by many.

Ukraine and President Zelenskyy took the signs seriously. No one listened to him or the people of Ukraine. They are the ones suffering not the West who tried to evade responsibility.

πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ "The responsibility for the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 lies with Europe and the world. After all, all key states knew about Putin’s plans, but did not take them seriously," β€” Former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at Black Sea Security Forum

Russia will not stop but that does not mean the free world is not ready and capable.

There is a drone with this man's name on it. I hope it will find him and kills him soon. Then he will stop worrying when the end will come.

Chancellor Merz is going to meet President Trump next Thursday in Washington. We will see what this will yield, but as somebody recently said: Calibrate your enthusiasm. I certainly will.

Noem should face sanctions at the very least. America needs to stop interfering in elections in countries that are democratic and allies. What is Noem thinking - whose orders does she follow or is she just hunting for brownie points with Trump.

‼️ US didn't do enough to stop war in 2014, says former US secretary of state Mike Pompeo

This is what Russia wants. This is why Russia must be stopped. If the US does not support stopping Russia then say so in no uncertain terms. No more vagueness and no more believing that you are the leader of the free world. The US is not a leader now.

I expect nothing from the meeting in Istanbul. I think that the Russians have said what they are hoping for - the destruction of Ukraine. America needs to decide what vision of the world it supports. I fear it is the Russian view.

She's desperate to make separatism succeed regardless of how she attempts to distance herself.

The UCP is about control.

Disappointing but not surprising that Alberta tries to reduce the effectiveness of software this power line. Alberta does not like competition.

Russia will do all it can to avoid progress.

Ukraine needs to decide its alliances. Russia already borders a NATO country - Finland. If that is not an issue then Ukraine will not be an issue. Russia just puts up obstacles.

The problem is he's like KFC

So beautiful.

Thank you for sharing the facts.

WOW! Nothing better to do. Perhaps a criminal to capture?

He knows what has to be done and he is thinking ahead. He also is telling Canadians. I appreciate understanding his thinking. I trust him to do the best.

I want the best for Alberta in everything respect. If the oil companies want to rely on dated vision, dated technology, and misinformation - go for it. We have Albertans ready and willing to meet the future and I think it has to be without the UCP. The UCP is dated and mired in what was.

I got here because I was born here. I don't agree with much what our government puts out. Unfortunately many Albertans don't care about facts or what our government puts out. I can read. I can evaluate. What's wrong with so many Albertans?

The oil sands are not the epicentre for world pollution. But they play a role. The Alberta government has protected the oil companies from transparency in their operations. Part truths are not sufficient. The whole truth is required. That needs a neutral evaluator - not from Alberta.

Alberta has a woman as a premier. Bering a woman doesn't make you a better political candidate. Character regardless of gender is what is needed. Women can lack character as well as men.

The anti-trans legislation impacts all who are affected - the patient, the parents, the medical team. It interferes when none is required. The government should have no authority in determining any medical intervention or recommendations. It is a personal issue for those concerned.

The UCP announcement lacks so much information. My guess it is an intervention by book banning enthusiasts. Age appropriate is great but defining age appropriateness is the issue. High school kids are curious and books with sexual content might be appropriate. Not for their parents though.

We live in Calgary and have 16 solar panels on the roof of our home. When the forest fire smoke gets heavy here we lose 25% of the production even when the skies are clear of clouds. It's the smoke. We have a computer program monitoring production.

It is disappointing to hear of this behaviour among Ukrainian forces. They face terrible conditions but allowing emotions to control their behaviour is a failure. Acting nobly is difficult but so admirable.

A Russian prisoner captured on the southern front β€” a Nazi tattoo with the inscription "Rus'". Tell me you are Russian without saying you are Russian.

Use International agencies to support the talks. The United States appears more and more to be a waste of time. They delay talks as much as the Russians.

Dugin, the face of Putin's regime, speaks about "occupation of Ukraine"&Russia not willing to take a diplomatic path to peace These thoughts aren't just Dugin's.All of Russia's leaders think like this. That's why Russia must lose the ability to wage wars through economic&physical force.

If this is true - a gay man fighting the good fight and winning. 2SLGBTQ+ people know how to fight back.

Sanction China!

We have 5 cats and are getting older. We don't want to think of leaving our cats behind so we hope that we out live them. I can't imagine any of our cats surviving if suddenly left without human support. I love these rescuers. They are heroes to humans and animals.

Graham seems to have gotten the publicity he wanted but he doesn't seem motivated to follow through. The "Dear Leader" decides everything. When is your bathroom break Lindsay?

I admire Zelenskyy! He talks to those who I would hate to be in the same room.

This would have been preventable if our UCP government had done more to get vaccines into the kids or people needing protection. They did nothing and don't like to talk about vaccines. The health minister should show some backbone and resign. She failed. Tell us who instructed her actions.

A party that does not acknowledge climate change does not deserve support from Canadians. Forest fires are an indicator that the climate is changing. The droughts in Southern Alberta are a sign. The Alberta government feels that we can just put up with it. No we can't and we won't.

Alberta has not been screwed. Alberta (UCP at any rate) are pouty, entitled children without any responsibility for being Canadian. I am Canadian first. I won't vote for a party that in on any level supports separation. Smith does just that with her vagueness and actions.

The Tories selected one of their own to run in the riding. The citizens need to select someone who represents them and not the Ottawa kingpins who don't know the area. Poilievre sure doesn't know Alberta no matter how much he tries to wrap the Alberta flag around himself. Like Harper - a wanna be.

Nenshi has not had a platform outside the legislature. He needs to be on the inside working for all Albertans. Smith had her period of grace now is the time to start hammering her and the UCP. We can do it Alberta!

What a great idea! I live in Calgary but will support an Indigenous candidate who has the support and organization of their community. Indigenous people have done much for themselves when they work together.
