The last time I was going through it a well intended wellness check turned into an involuntary stay under suicide watch. I was on the phone with someone really strong, upstairs at the MSU physics building, just talking through it all when the cops showed up.

THEY knew what was going on, but I didn't, and they did not care that I didn't. I did not know where I was or why. I just knew I had been driven there in an ambulance and thought I could go home soon. Nope. And because I was in psychosis, they stuck me in the "bad unit" where the "bad patients" go.

What I went into psychosis, the staff at the hospital treated me like garbage until they found out I wasn't doing hard drugs, and that I had a family outside waiting for me. It was cruelty that I will never forget. I hope they're ashamed.
