Thinking about an AU where Kaeya figures out Crepus' death was part of a Fatui plot, so he fakes having also been killed by them so he can go undercover to investigate. Later in Snezhnaya, Diluc unknowingly ends up almost killing him and that's how Kaeya gets his Vision.
