Just for fun: if you could have magic that reliably summoned one thing (object) only for the rest of your life, what would you pick? I'll start: a cup of coffee in my favorite mug, prepared just the way I like it, at the perfect temperature to drink immediately.

I just called my reps with @5calls.org, you can too: 5calls.org Let's keep the pressure on them, democrats and republicans alike! They need to hear that we are not going to cede our Democracy to billionaires who want to destroy our government while lining their pockets!

RIP Marianne Faithfull. Was privileged to see her in 2002 with @campnicole.bsky.social - how is that 22 years ago?! Marianne Faithfull, a Pop Star Turned Survivor, Is Dead at 78 www.nytimes.com/2025/01/30/a...

#cats #catlove #cathelp Hello friends! Whiskers In Need had a kitten stolen last night. This is out of the Pet Smart in Lynnwood, WA north of Seattle. Please share and spread the word. WIN is devastated. Share and see if we can get this little guy home safely.

@brittaniwho.bsky.social Hey I know you!

OMW to visit family, passing this. Miles of backup. Why would anyone willingly subject themselves to Black Friday? I never saw the point, and it only seems to get worse. Half an hour JUST from freeway exit to the parking lot, and "9+" accidents? Buy local when you can. Seek out experiential gifts.

Does ANYONE trust these danged little pop up thermometers? Are they just BS?

Feels like a good time to put this back in the timeline youtu.be/jPCJIB1f7jk?...

If I post about something joyful, and it looks to you like I'm not sad, or mad, or upset, or worried enough about the state of the world, just know: I am. I am ALL of those things. (1/4)

Saw someone mention #1GoodThing and I think it's great. We need hope and positivity to bolster us. So here's mine: grateful for a supportive spouse who held my hand while I had an IUD replaced, took me to get a milkshake afterwards, and then tucked me in to rest easy when we got home.
