Yep, Linux gaming really is an excercise in how much effort you really think each game is worth just to play. I'm waaaay to much of a slave to convenience to even think about it 😅

Oof, that's definitely a linux moment. I'm kinda glad that I only put linux on my laptop and left my desktop windows for gaming, I definitely could not be bothered to figure it out

I have a severe softspot for that late 90s/early 00's brand of ugly internet. It's part of why I enjoyed hypnospace outlaw so much (amazing game with absolutely horseshit ui for stylistic reasons)

But have you considered: making the ui entirely out of shitty memes (this is not a serious suggestion, however shitty placeholders sometimes help me make decisions about final graphics)
