was asked a really interesting question in an interview yesterday: given a budget, which areas of security spending produce the greatest and worst (or negative) ROI? my answer: positive: SSO/OAuth, hardware keys worst: DAST, DLP, honorable mention to poorly configured IDS’s what’s your answer?

I finally disconnected my last Alexa-compatible device (Sonos speaker) from my account. In theory, Amazon isn’t getting any more data besides the actual Amazon app but I won’t be sure until I rip out the (known) mics. Please clap.

I turned off all sounds from my microwave and it has been nicer than expected. The dogs are really confused but I don’t miss the beeps. I turned off audio feedback on the ps5. I’m planning to keep doing this (washer/dryer next) and removing speakers if need be (toaster oven, treadmill). No beeps plz
