Look, I don't know who the problem is, but nearly an entire roster of talented players is playing poorly for a long time. Freaking fire someone already. I feel like in late July they're still going to be saying "Well, it's a long season, just gotta keep putting in the effort." It's maddening.

It's worth noting that, while Basallo IS mashing in the minors, "mashing in the minors" has rarely translated directly to mashing in the majors for our prospects. Just ask Coby Mayo. Also, Adley's been struggling for less than a year; why are so many ready to give up on him?

The Orioles do NOT have a sports psychologist on staff, as I've been told. They have a "Major League Mental Performance Coach" & a "Mental Skills Coach" & there is no reason not to list both as licensed & accredited mental health professionals if they were that. www.mlb.com/orioles/team...

Pitching has been an issue, but it's clear that even with a staff of 5 aces, this Orioles team would still be in last place in the AL East because they simply cannot hit with any consistency. It's maddening to watch & even more maddening to see the coach & GM act like it's not a concern.
