Unrelated, but using red for the party on the left and blue for the party on the right makes way more sense.

Ok... And what will you do about that?

After a lifetime on the frontiers of the fight against HIV, researchers can finally see the end of the epidemic in sight. But thanks to the Trump administration’s executive orders, it’s unclear when—or possibly even ever—this breakthrough medicine will see the light of day.

NEW FROM @nytimes.com: Report from @nyccomptroller.bsky.social found only 40 out of 3,500 restaurants received outdoor dining permits ahead of the program’s April 1 start. These abysmal numbers hurt small businesses. This is a failure of the Adams administration.

Always feels like good luck when you get an open gangway C train on @mta.info

There's a standard pattern when a city like London or Stockholm adopts congestion pricing: It's initially unpopular b/c drivers view congestion pricing as a tax, but support grows as locals see it reducing traffic and improving urban life. Looks like it's happening in NYC, too -- and quickly.

Single member districts and the Electoral College were certainly mistakes

I don’t see how the democratic party survives without a fresh slate of candidates who understand the stakes. we are in a repeated prisoners dilemma where one party keeps cooperating while the other keeps gleefully defecting but the party playing C hopes tomorrow will bring rainbows.
