What's the greatest line in cinema?

Went to a writers' workshop this evening, and I'm going to have to make it a regular stop. This group meets at Blackbird coffeehouse with the sole purpose of encouraging its members to keep doing what they're doing. It is an exploration of creativity, and truly impressive.

The struggle is real. #authors #writers

"It's a great sign to see that people are challenging the notion that we all have to do AI now," Geuter said. "Because we don't. It's a choice. A choice that mostly benefits monopolists."

t's been a while since I promoted my novel here. It's the perfect Mothers Day gift if your mother is ready to take down a few zombies 😀 www.amazon.com/Shadow-Dead-...

I want to go on record saying this was a good and productive weekend. I met some good friends at Cactus Cat Creations and we had a wonderful conversation. Shoes, ships, sealing wax, the whole nine yards. Also made progress with writing, splitting one short story anthology off into two. Progress!

May the 4th be with you. And may we all forget the Star Wars Holiday Special.

I only steal from the best

#WIP "Tyrone could not remember wanting Lisa so desperately. To be fair, though, he had trouble remembering quite a few things. Like where he put his car keys, or what Stop signs meant, or the purpose of his mother's heart medicine ... may she rest in peace." From "Tyrone and Lisa Save the World"

A question for the other indies: There is an alternative to Goodreads, and the name escapes me constantly. Naturally, I could have written it down when I first saw it, but that would have been too sensible. Any pointers would be most welcome.

On this world, *we* were the aliens 😮

Person at Book Fair ( Looking at my dystopian novel): Mmm ... Is this fiction? Me: Oh, I really hope so!

So, this was my Saturday. I set up for the second annual Blackbird Book Fair, hosted by Ten10 Brewing Company in Orlando. These images are from the set-up, before the crowds arrived to explore, peruse, or just have a really fun Saturday. So, how was this, my first book fair as an author? Well 1/

If you're in the Orlando area on Saturday 4/26, and in the neighborhood of 1010 Virginia Drive, you'll find a book fair. Vendors and authors and all manner of fascinating things. I'll be there, too, so please say hello. Just look for the guy in the fedora and the Harry Potter glasses.

Gonna summon the Old Ones tonight, just for giggles.

One of my short stories has been selected for a science fiction/fantasy anthology due out this summer and I am thrilled beyond measure. Thank you, Ted Bun, for the invitation and the editing prowess. I look forward to being a part of this adventure.

Thought I would check in to say hello. It has been a busy, but incredibly eventful, weekend. Good book news to be had and I'll be explaining later this week. But I'm feeling pretty good right now. ... If only tomorrow were a spare Saturday and not a Monday.
