These ads appeared in Ebony Magazine back in the 1980s and they had a profound effect and impact on me…not only because of the hosiery, but the photos themselves. They’re posed of course, but they also seem natural. I try to convey that in my own pictures.

AVN released a list of the best dressed that was at their awards show back in January. I’m hoping the @tgeroticaawards.bsky.social do the same this year. Many of the ladies attend in some exquisite gowns (and cocktail dresses) and they need to be recognized. Also…the fellas as well. I love my tux!

Jim Weathers is one of my favorite photographers and Cherie DeVille is one of my favorite porn stars. Put them together (with a dash of pantyhose) and you get fine art like this. I’ve shot many sets with pantyhose, but none like these…at least not yet.

A couple more photos I would like to attempt with a model. Can’t get much simpler than a robe and a towel on the models head! The next time I have a nice hotel room, I’ll try this. Thing is, many of the hotel rooms, I utilize are pretty dark; I need to find one that’s light and airy.

Teresa is one of my favorites to work with. She just GETS me. She usually nails any look I might suggest. The problem is she doesn’t live in the LA area and I’m too broke to travel to her. Trust if I had the cash I’d be shooting WAY more of her, especially considering the city she lives in.

I purchased multi-color ring lights to illuminate a room like this…and I haven’t utilized them in over a year. I need to get back to this with my next shoot…whenever it is. Thing is, using those lights meant I couldn’t really use my strobe since it would overpower my model. Fixed lights are better.
