A friend dm’d about doing the belt buckle mushing event sooner, like dryland. Here is maybe our strongest pair in ORK history, Jerk and Grant going over 21mph yesterday. Arm jarring strength. Rocks can hurt more than ❄️ in the event of a crash but the opportunity for a belt buckle might be worth it?

Irod’s latest scheme seems desperate & gross but after more thought maybe it’s brilliant. Several years ago we hosted a dog mushing Christmas party for a dental office in exchange for dental work for Martha. Think of the fundraising opportunity if we awarded cheap belt buckles at an event like this💡

May is 1 of our fav months to run 🐩. The🍃popping,🐦🐤chirping, and still plenty of morning temps right around the freezing mark. Some mushers may be sleeping in dreaming of being competitive and having an abundance of leaders one day but the early mornings is where we turned that dream into a reality
