Fifty years—wow! This was my first magazine subscription as a kid. It made science accessible to anglers and drove support for selective harvest. An outlier today, it's a great example of two brothers shared real knowledge and improved the sport as a result.

I just completed AIS Management 101 through MAISRC—it was a great course! Aquatic plant control involves many factors that aren’t obvious to those used to lawn or garden care. If no one on your lake association has taken this or a similar class, I highly recommend it.
