Interesting take. For us, it just doesn't add up to how our singles normally perform right out of the gate, without pre-promotion or ads. It just seems insane a cover would get grouped into the category of "Do Not Playlist."

100% it happened. We had never heard of it either. But when 18,000 people don't get your new single added to their weekly discover playlists (confirmed by the stats on our backend and talking to people who follow the band) I would say that is shadow-banning in full effect.
