I don’t really know what to write here. I’m just here to share photos I’ve taken and to try to stay positive.

Termination letter cited “performance issues”. I’ve had no official reviews, we haven’t been employed long enough. So where’s the evidence? The only unofficial reviews I’ve had gave me 98-100%. This is an illegal termination, me and my whole team at the IRS. This is fascism. Say it out loud.

We’ve yet to receive any formal termination notice, just a phone call last night. Some who weren’t fired got an email advising that “it’s in your best interest to contact a retirement specialist”.

Myself and nearly all of my team were fired from the IRS yesterday. We’re all here in the office printing all of paystubs, SF50s, reviews etc. Waiting for IT to come around and collect our tech. All in agreement that we’re not signing any paperwork. Vibes are bitter.

Anxiety got me in its grip today. I’m trying to take things one day at a time and not worry too much but it’s a struggle. I’m just gonna post some old shots from my days hiking around the PNW when things were simpler. Cracking open a Rainier at Rainier.

New Mexico skies.

I lived in New Mexico for a few years and something I really miss about it was just dramatic and epic the sky can be.

I think this is the lighthouse at Cape Disappointment, WA. Not sure. Something went wrong with the shutter, but I like it. Film is so unpredictable.

I’ve always struggled with film. It never comes out the way I imagined. It’s always a surprise getting the prints back. But maybe that’s what makes it so intriguing? Camping with Mike, Mt Rainier, black and white film.

As much as I love nature, I’m a city boy at heart. I love the good, the bad, and the ugly of urban life. 🏙️ Philadelphia, PA.

I love how many major US cities have a Japanese garden somewhere. If you can’t afford to fly to Kyoto, it’s a nice escape. Shofuso Japanese Cultural Center, Philadelphia, PA
