I had to keep reminding myself that this isn't a spoof. Remarkable and horrifying all at the same time.

Too funny, too real. I once saw this actually happen. I was in a Cancer Research charity shop when a woman bought a top, then "found" a mark - it's all second hand, remember - and demanded a partial refund. This then took ages to process for the volunteer on the till. She saved £2 off a £6 top.

Back in Edinburgh for the first time in years and it did not disappoint

It has a small but dedicated fanbase, of which I'm happy to be a member. It's also really good at showing how friendship groups coalesce and break apart slowly and without much drama. You never know when you're going to make friends, and never know when you've seen them for the last time.
