Checked the route for Sunday’s starlit walk going to the red barn. I usually have a whatever the weather approach, but on Sunday 52mph winds are predicted. Robert McGowan of Eastbourne Eco-Action will email if booked. I’ll still be playing music in The Tiger and that’ll be a cosy haven.

And another… In Yorkshire, meadowsweet is known as ‘courtship and matrimony’, the flower scent symbolises the sweetness of courtship, whilst the less pleasant smell of crushed foliage symbolises the reality of marriage
