Visiting Harpa music hall in Iceland. Not been in a more unwelcoming and cold public space in a long time. No seating. No signage. All for 'clean lines' adored by architects. FYI I'm an architect.

Iceland. Most modern buildings appear to be concrete - good for a land with lots of water & little wood. Still a horrible insulator. Fun rest stop on our journey w corrugated concrete forms, & raw metal trim. Grass roof plays homage to history, and acts as an insulation, and observation deck.

Not exactly what I meant by local beer.

@wunfatkid.bsky.social they serve soup in ball caps here in Iceland.

The only board games I've seen in Iceland (I've not been looking) was a bird themed card game at the wool association store when I was buying a scarf.

I think @nyobari.net 's mirror mirror duplicate is across the room at the burger joint here in Iceland.

Can I sit by the window so I can see NYC when we land?

In one week I'll be vacationing in a more civilized country. Unfortunately I don't need to say where.

@boardsalive.bsky.social @425suzanne.bsky.social Rewatching Tron instead of the Last Star Fighter.

I enjoyed it. I can see how it's not for everyone. Blue Prince.

I did a thing where our bush was removed. The only gardening I usually do is in board games.

Getting a shout out on @boardsalive.bsky.social podcast is cool. For being old?

New hotness

I'm home alone for two weeks. Who wants to come over and play some games?

Totally confused that the Thunderbolts don't have marionette strings or Snarf.

First time at my friend's new house. Pretty sure it is this one.

We did the Costco run in under 12 parsecs.

Let's go see Devo? Sure sounds like fun. When and where? Downtown Cincinnati next to the ballpark the same time as a game....

How come nobody told me Blue Prince was a play on blueprints.

Hello old friend. Alien Frontiers

Do you have a favorite noodle dish? Fettuccine Alfredo? Dandan noodles? Coconut sevai? Spaetzle? Ramen? Pad Thai? Macaroni salad? I'm working on a game theme and would love to hear about your go-to noods!
