I'm so proud of my avoidance setup I added in all my different states. Here is an example in the patrol state. Slime is supposed to follow the green path, but it avoids the tree as an obstacle to return on his follow path I'm happy πŸ˜„ #godot #gamedev #avoidance #gamedesign

Chests now use my SpawnerComponent. This component can drop on the floor or animate the spawned item and add it to inventory. I had to tweak the component via "await owner.ready" in its ready function because the parent (chest) setups his child node in its own ready function #godot #gamedev

Just finished my new tool scene: ladder I can customize the color and the height inside editor. I use my collision disabler component to prevent player from being stuck against cliffs :) I had to create a new state for the state machine which manages animation, speed, and drop shadow #godot #gamedev
