There was an episode of Max Headroom where television commercials (for "Zik-Zak") were broadcast so fast that viewers' heads were exploding while they sat in their recliners. It was a mystery to solve, but now I don't remember the outcome. I'll have to find it and watch it again.

This year, I had no mileage goal for the year, but I still managed 2750 miles (versus 3000 last year). I bikepacked the Katy Trail earlier this year, and rode another century. My fitness overall is still gradually improving, but there is still much room for improvement, especially climbs and speed.
