That NetEase news really paints a grim picture for the global games industry. Large conglomerates buying entire game studios solely for increasing their stock market value. They don't even want those studios to produce games because that would mean they have to spend money on marketing.

I think one the reasons that Fall of X fell flat is because the minis are one issue shorter than what minis were in the beginning of Krakoa and I think that Fall Of The House Of X/Rise Of The Powers Of X being 2 issues less than HoX/PoX had an adverse affect on those stories

I hate that Marvel does the whole 5 issue contract thing instead of six issues. I know Dan Buckley said they've started approving ongoings at 10 issues at a time now but it feels so wrong to cancel a book at 10 instead of 12. This reduction of issues doesn't benefit the stories at all
