Love that the first administration is what people were wanting back, not the debacle we have now

No, this is the most ashamed you've felt as an American *so far*.

Lol why would they do that

When the Daily Mail is taking Zelensky's side....yeah this didn't go over well globally

Yeah that turned out well for Zod

Russia coming back to win the Cold War in 2025 after the ESPN win probability chart said the USA had a 99.999999999% chance of victory

when you're watching a movie with your parents and a sex scene comes on

*record scratch* *freeze frame* Yep, that's me, Marco Rubio. You're probably wondering....

I do wonder if what happened today becomes Trump's Afghanistan withdrawal moment with normies

This is a really interesting point of some long term good that can come from this mess

for what it is worth, trump II also really has convinced me that US hegemony is probably bad for America in and of itself. there needs to be credible consequences for electing a Mad Emperor again

Yeah the Atlantic Alliance and Post-War Global Order is too important to be left in the hands of a single electorate

They're right to wonder, because there isn't a single person in this administration--at least not with any meaningful decision-making power--who grasps what is at stake in the international sphere. This is a government of right-wing social media denizens with zero understanding of the real world.

The idea that JD Vance—who has never been to Ukaine and chalks up his knowledge to shit he read on the internet—believes he knows more about the situation in Ukraine than the man who has led it for the past 5.5 years is a perfect encapsulation of the havoc this administration is wreaking worldwide

Also a sign of how online they are when you know the context of this comment

This is not an administration that is going to be able to cope or strategize with a collapsed economy and public approval

These people are so high on their own supply

Coward

Moreover they’d already bullied Zelensky into agreeing to sign their nonsense mineral rights agreement, but they’re greedy little goblins and they wanted to be seem rubbing his nose in the dirt on live tv too

my dog when I ask what’s in his mouth

When the UK tories are saying stuff like this...yeah it was bad

As bad as it is to say it, I don't see how we are getting Pax Americana back. If it does happen it's going to years because no one should trust the US

if you take Trump at his ~word that his desire is to avoid WWIII breaking the Pax Americana and forcing Europe and probably Japan to rapidly remilitarize is nearly the worst way I can think of to do it

If you’re going to just throw in the towel and say America is over, may I suggest renaming the Bulwark to something more fitting like the Little White Flag

It’s impossible to love our nation and not be deeply repulsed and ashamed of what we have done.

Little Marco trying to get even Little-er

Europe would be completely irresponsible to not be crash developing a new NATO without the US

What...the...fuck

Did this guy ask Elon Musk the same question?

Also, look how uncomfortable Rubio is

Yeah of all the awful people who have been forced on us over the last 10 years, Vance is the one who grates on me the most

Photo of Trump (left) and Vance (right) welcoming Zelensky (center) to the White House today:

There have been more deeply shameful moments for the United States over the last month than I can count. This Oval Office spectacle might be the worst.

I am so disgusted and ashamed of my country.
