RIP Pat Ingoldsby a much loved poet. Connected with people of all ages. Probably the first real life poet many of us saw as kids on TV or on the streets of Dublin selling his poetry collections.

Took up online chess during the pandemic. After an initial burst where I seemed to improve rapidly, a slow & steady decline set in - the more I played, the worse I got. Even he gave me a good game. Long story short, I don’t play chess anymore.
