LRT is part of why I always felt “left behind” in fandoms. Some fandoms have artists who’s just CHURN OUT fanart. Fandom also tends to pick up and discard art quickly, while highly circulating a small percentage of that art. So my slow, weird, experimental shit doesn’t get caught up.
