Playing Persona 3 Reload reminded me why I had a period where I only played Persona 4 & 5 back-to-back to an unhealthy degree.

Ten days have passed and I think I'll just wait for the reviews instead.

Finished watching the Devil May Cry Netflix anime. This is an adaptation of not only DMC3 but also a mix of DMC1. Unfortunately, I do found myself preferring the source material more than this adaptation but as a standalone, I am interested to see where the series goes next.

Updating the list after finishing FFVIII: FF1 ShB: FF14 FF7 FF6 FF5 FF10 HW: FF14 FF7 Remake FF11 Free Trial ARR: FF14 LR: FF13 FF Type-0 FF8 FF16 FF12 FF3 FF15 FF4 FF13 FF3 3D Remake StB: FF14 FF13-2 EW: FF14 FF2 FF10-2

Finished Final Fantasy VIII. I wish I played this when it came out because the visuals and presentations must have been borderline sorcery for video games at the time.

Playing Final Fantasy X-2

Updating the list after Final Fantasy X: FFI Shadowbringers: FFXIV FFVII FFVI FFV FFX Heavensward: FFXIV FFVII Remake A Realm Reborn: FFXIV Lightning Returns: FFXIII FF Type-0 FFFXVI FXII FFIII FFXV FFIV FFXIII Stormblood: FFXIV FFXIII-2 Endwalker: FFXIV FFII

Recently finished Final Fantasy X. This game is phenomenal. Some quick thoughts before fully finalizing this game, it is surprising to see how well crafted the cutscenes are and how stellar the overall presentation this game has. The music, the story and action set pieces are all great.

Finished Monster Hunter Freedom Unite a month ago or atleast the Village Quests. One of the best MH game ever made that became the template for future MH games.

Six months has passed after finishing the Kingdom Hearts series & now the nostalgia is suddenly kicking in. Not sure why I missed Birth By Sleep the most even though I hated it.

Honorable Mentions of 2024: Elden Ring Played this with a friend. There's a lot of praise given to this game that I agree with. The world is structured similar to BOTW & Genshin, making the experience familiar to those games, & then there's castle in the area, changing it into a Dark Souls game.

Honorable Mentions of 2024: Final Fantasy VII Remake I'm a sucker for anything related FFVII. FFVII Remake is great & manages to translate most of what's great from the original. Played with a friend & honestly a very fun experience going through the old & new adventures this game has.

Honorable Mentions of 2024: Minecraft I kinda don't know how to talk about this game. Played on a server with friends and building a huge base where monsters keep spawning because not much areas are covered with light. There's three big buildings. The project has not yet been finished.

Honorable Mentions of 2024: Monster Hunter Frontier This game provides a weird, alternate version of Monster Hunter if 3rd Gen doesn't exist & instead continues building on from Monster Hunter 2 Dos. My only gripe is the language barrier but fortunately there are current fan translations & tools.

Honorable Mentions of 2024: Final Fantasy XI Online Even though its already in my 2024 list, that's mostly referring to the Free Trial which gives 14 days of free access, I had 50 hours on it, played for 10 days, making my average playthrough 5 hours a day. Seriously addictive.

Honorable Mentions of 2024: Yakuza / Yakuza Kiwami The release of the live action Yakuza series on Amazon gave me a reason to replay both Yakuza & Yakuza Kiwami, the series is based on. Ultimately I prefer the original Y1 mainly because the rough story there reflects the rough gameplay well.

HONORABLE MENTIONS OF 2024: Tomb Raider I-III Remastered I despise platformers but never really knew why. Initial playthrough was kinda not fun, but after changing to the classic controls & learning the controls slowly, despite the difficulty, this game is actually quite meditative to play.

HONORABLE MENTIONS OF 2024: Final Fantasy XVI A fun but flawed game that didn't make my list of 2024 mainly because I didn't own it & played it with a friend. My gripes are mainly towards the story; the third act & pacing, which also exposes how formulaic the game is after finishing FFXIV.

Before Wilds comes out, I want to rank every Monster Hunter games I've played; MH 4 Ultimate MH World: Iceborne MH Rise: Sunbreak MH G* MH Portable 3rd* MH Freedom Unite* MH 3 Ultimate* MH World MH Rise MH Generations MH Freedom* *games I haven't finished but have beaten the final village quest

Screw it. Ranking every Final Fantasy games I've played: FFI Shadowbringers: FFXIV FFVII FFV FFVI Heavensward: FFXIV FFVII Remake FFXI Free Trial A Realm Reborn: FFXIV Lightning Returns: FFXIII FF Type-0 FFXII FFIII FFXVI FFXV FFIV FFXIII Stormblood: FFXIV FFXIII-2 Endwalker: FFXIV FFII

Update: We have a new domain! The old link still works, but the new Monster Hunter Wiki can now also be found at monsterhunterwiki.org !!!

My Games Of The Year 2024 FIRST: Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers The third expansion of FFXIV & is a modern masterpiece. Despite the story using the isekai genre as the premise, this widen the confines of what can be done & what is achieved is truly deserving on being my GOTY of 2024.

My Games Of The Year 2024 SECOND: Monster Hunter G The expanded version of the first Monster Hunter game. While the single player mode is primitive compare to modern MH, the online is where this game never ages. There's a lot I can say but to put it simply, old MH1 is just as great as modern MH.

My Game Of The Year 2024 THIRD: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas After 20 years, this is still one of the best open world games currently. Nostalgia aside, this game is great purely on what it manage to achieve in 2004. Both gameplay & story, GTA SA manages to prove that it is more than just a game.

My Games Of The Year 2024 FOURTH: Final Fantasy XI An immersive & addictive MMORPG where its easy to get lost into the world. There are certain parts of the game that did not age well, but overall I just love this game. Dangerously addictive I might add, nearly sucking a lot of time from me.

My Games Of The Year 2024 FIFTH: Marvel Vs Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes Arguably the best MVC game currently. The most chaotic game in this list for how much stuff you have to engage with like your assists, the enemy's assists, etc. My personal favorite fighting game beating Tekken 7.

My Games Of The Year 2024 SIXTH: Final Fantasy VI An RPG classic that is a must-play for those who just value story & gameplay. A story that is both fantastical & bleak. Characters that are relatable to different types of players for there is no focal main protagonist. A great Final Fantasy game.

My Games Of The Year 2024 SEVENTH: Grand Theft Auto: Vice City The second game of the classic GTA Trilogy that I don't have any nostalgia for. Vice City is a beautiful setting & really hype to see it's glory once again in GTA VI. As time passes, I've grown to appreciate this game a whole lot.

My Games of The Year 2024 EIGHTH: Grand Theft Auto III One of the first open world games that provides a high level of freedom in the genre. Liberty City is a setting that I really vibe with. There is no map ingame so mission objectives relies on either knowing the map by heart or by the internet.
