The Garcia Project. Anyone ever seen this band? My wife grabbed 2 seats in the 6th row. Never heard of them, they perform classic JGB set lists from 1976-1995. They claim on their website they are the only nationally touring tribute that performs classic Jerry❔ ⚑

My plea to the world: Halt this madness now. The current path is insane and unsustainable. 🌎

It’s arrived at last.

'Taking a trip down memory lane.' Complety forgot this guy. Early 80s? I listened to him back when my kids were young.

Pam went to the monthly girls' night out with her coworkers. This month was a backyard potluck appetizer/snack party with Margaritas. She baked a spinach artichoke dip with garlic, bread crumbs, and lots of Parmesan cheese on top. When it came out, I threatened to steal it.πŸ₯§ @marigold420.bsky.social

Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982)

All my old albums and merch got ruined by a flood. I have discovered stubs in old boxes, stuck in books, in between pictures (some very funny pictures) etc. I built a small camp fire to get rid of old checks etc. When the fire was going pretty well, I spotted this in the papers that are now on fire.

And the races to the farmers' markets have officially begun. πŸŒ±πŸ“πŸ“πŸ“πŸŒ±

This one makes me tap my toes.

"There was a shining optimism to its sound, which mixed funk with the ecstasy of gospel, a little rock + a touch of psychedelia β€” as well as a vision of community and brotherhood that stood out in a period of political separatism." "People will say that a thing is amazing without thinking about what the word really means. It was astonishing to be working on a memoir with Sly, and it was also startlingly and bracingly strange. Talking to him was unlike talking to anyone else, in that he was not like anyone else."

Coffee Coffee Coffee "Acid reflux occurs when stomach acid flows backward into the esophagus, causing a burning sensation and stomach pains." The doctor says lay off the coffee! OH, NOOOO I cannot function in the morning, and this will make it a lot of fun. Herbal tea nope! @ruh-roh.bsky.social ❌ β˜•

Fantastic band, perfect musicians. Best live show I have seen since Porcupine Tree.

I saw this on a walk this morning. We can't grow clematis at all. The soil is too moist. A quarter mile away in the woods, there is a pond back there. We cannot see them through the woods, but we get lake runoff, every Spring.🌱

The Black Crows 'The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion' Chris Robinson basically pissed off everybody in the band, including his brother. He is regarded as a jerk and really did not make any friends. He even dissed the Dead because of John Mayer. Fantastic live band. youtu.be/QQOKy8EzQVs?...

Front row. Enter the Haggis, Infinity Music Hall, Hartford, Connecticut. Canadian Celtic rock band we chased around New England for 20+ years. ☘️

In here w/ my youngest✌️ #BMFS

Tarkus (1971) and Brain Salad Surgery (1973) both knocked me to the ground. They have been stuck in my head forever. Probably Tarkus if I had to pick one. Covered my first 3 years of high school. I was a school band geek and this set my head on fire. My first real show was YES. I think I know why.

The 80s were a blast. All the Brit alternative, hard-rock, hairbands, heavy metal etc. At the time, I heard them on the radio. I was more into Dylan, The Dead, The Allman Brothers, Little Feat, Zappa and Tull. I smoked a lot of weed and danced my way through that decade. I hit every show possible.
