It's been a productive day. While my partner was repainting the kitchen, I was making a top for a bistro table base using lumber we purchased yesterday. My first time doing this type of carpentry, but it seems to be going well so far. Just need to apply some wood filler before sanding and staining!

I saw a dress rehearsal of the play Now and Then last night at Langham Court Theatre. The four actors were amazing. The set was well done and the script was witty, but with some poignant scenes that added a bittersweet feeling to the mix. Engaging from start to finish! #yyj #VictoriaBC #LanghamCourt

We've been adopted by our neighbour's dog, Fanny. She visits at every opportunity and now takes us for walks to the beach, where she lets us throw sticks while she watches and wags her tail as we frolic in the waves trying to show her how to fetch. 🐶 #dogs #beach #LakelandTerrier
