Starting a list of resources for folks who are either impacted by the EKY/SWVA floods or who want to help. The water is high, y’all, and we’ve got freezing temps almost all week. Feel free to add to this

On this, what can be one of the loneliest days of the year for some, I just want to say I truly, deeply hope those of you still looking find the love you know damn well you deserve and I hope that you find it sooner rather than later. You deserve to be loved. You really do.

We have GOT to clean the air in film/tv set hair and makeup trailers. Folks working in them basically huff fumes 12-18 hours a day. 😡

Insulting looks, body, intelligence, age, education levels etc — EVEN when correctly angry about an injustice — feeds racism, ableism, classism and every other ism injustice thrives on. Speak out, but not at the expense of already marginalized folks.

DYK? Since July 2022, the lag between COVID-19 symptom onset and a positive PCR test is 4.5-6.5 days. You might test positive earlier than 5 days after symptom onset, but it can be up to one week. That's PCR--with RATs you're even less likely to test positive within the first 5 days of symptoms.

Generations of Black patriots have fought in every battle. In every war. They fought when that freedom didn’t include them. Black History is, and will ALWAYS be, American History. #BlackHistoryMonth
