Finally, we are hearing reflections from local Sixth Form College students on their participation in the Holocaust Educational Trust’s (HET) Lessons from Auschwitz programme.

Next, we are honoured to hear from Janine Webber BEM, who is sharing her moving testimony of her survival of the L’vov Ghetto. She is in conversation with Anoushka Alexander-Rose, whose grandfather fled the city in 1939.

To begin our event, we are hearing from Southampton History graduate Mazzy Westwood, who is reading from Vesna Maric’s ‘Bluebird’, a powerful memoir of the author’s experiences as a refugee from the Bosnian War (1992-1995).
