Can confirm, @passpixi.bsky.social deters all but the worst drivers. There's a noticeable difference if I don't have one on my bike.

Ride a bike along that path and you'd be a social pariah. Dickish parking like has become socially acceptable though. We need to punish selfishness like this hard.

Before getting the drone, I've never seen myself cycling. Now all that's changed. Also, clearly, I need a new @passpixi.bsky.social sign for my pannier!

Some truly exceptional parking.

You can see (or maybe struggle to see) why too many dangerous drivers don’t react to bike cameras… they’re just too hard to spot. Would you spot the Garmin at 30/40mph?

Three, yes THREE, rear lights plus high-visibility yellow jacket and chummy still passes me like this on a bend into oncoming traffic #cycling

If clowns are willing to do this in front of a ton and a half of car, do you think they’ll give a damn about someone on a bike? Get a camera… it could be your only reliable witness #cycling

As 2024 disappears over the horizon, did you feel things were better, worse or just the same for cyclists on our roads this past 12 months? #cycling

Horrible thought, but Passpixi works because dangerous drivers care more about their licence and insurance than they do about flesh and blood #cycling

You were saying something about cyclists jumping red lights… (There’s two cars and a truck behind me here)

My top tips for avoiding close passes: 1. Ride in the centre of the lane if needed 2. Add a @passpixi.bsky.social to your bike/panniers - no need to actually have a camera, the sign will do the job! 3. Campaign for better infrastructure so you don't have to worry about close passes 😅

A bit of high vis drivers might actually take notice of

High vis jacket, rear helmet light, two more high intensity lights on back of the bike… and I still got this from a @unitedutilities driver in minus-three conditions last week #cycling

It's good to see some actual publicity from GM Police on this. www.gmp.police.uk/news/greater...
