This Psalm has been encouraging me lately. We often feel satisfied or dissatisfied at the end of the day, depending on how much work we have done. How awesome would it be if we would already be satisfied in the morning, and not by our own work but by God's faithful love? May we be glad today!

On the #WesleyHuff and #JoeRogan podcast: The take away for most people shouldn't be that they need PhD level apologetics knowledge to be evangelistic. Rather to embody humility, patience, love and kindness, and the ability to say i don't know or i am not an expert when we dont know something.

What's suprising to me is not that my relationship with God is often difficult and not as I expect it to be but that the Creator of this universe, - infinite life and power and love - reveals himself and makes himself available for us to have a relationship with him at all.

I love praying with my children (8, 6, 3, & 1). Some nights its impossible, often its chaotic and sometimes even boring. But then there the nights when prayer requests are shared, hearts are opened and God's presence is felt among us. If you are a parent, don't give up on prayer!

Bonhoeffer movie quick review: -You can't capture a whole life in a 2 hour movie, especially a life like Bonhoeffer's - I wish they would have captured his character better -There were some beautiful scenes that made me tear up. - Go read Bonhoeffer's books! I hope many people will.
