My government has decided that teenagers should follow the 20-20-2 rule. 20 minutes of screen time 20 seconds of looking in the distance and 2 hours of playing outside. I feel like 15. Does this mean I should ditch the Pomodoro technique and go play outside?

Rate my setup: Preparing for a coaching session on 50x Smarter Outlook. Not 1, not 2, but 3 screens! πŸ˜‚ The extra laptop on the left is my Windows machine, so I can immediately check things in Outlook for my client if necessary.

A while ago, I longed for sun and good weather. Now I'm just craving some rain to cool everything down, so I can open the window again. Third day of tropical temperatures in the Netherlands (and no AC, just a vent). Hope you're all keeping it cool, guys!

Despite the hot weather, I've been working hard this week. - Reworked the 50x landing page to target disorganized and distracted people instead of everybody. - Finally added the Intake survey for the Extra plan. Now I'm testing the survey, including the confirmation and notification.

My client told me he felt so exhausted from recalling all the things he needed to do. Instead of doing them, he got distracted by endless emails and notifications. πŸ‘€ Typical ADHD (his words, and I agree tbh). I helped him by decluttering his mailbox interface and disabling the notifications.

Currently designing a downloadable tool for the 50x Smarter course and trying to nail the design while not being perfectionistic. It's difficult, even nerve-wrecking, since I expect a lot of creatives and designers to use my course. No doubt, they will see the flaws in the design right away! πŸ˜…πŸ«£

One of my favorite hacks: Taking short breaks. It's the perfect way to fuel my focus, get some of my household chores done, or do a short workout. πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ And, while I'm doing that, my brain starts processing what I was working on, coming up with great ideas. I always have a notebook at hand. πŸ“πŸ˜Š

Sorry guys, For me, it's still the weekend today. Taking some time with my BF to enjoy the weather and touch some grass. Hope you all have a good day, too!

You won't hear me say you can never work hard or late. You can. Just make sure you also have time to relax, sleep, and have fun. Have a great weekend!

I stumbled upon this article πŸ‘‡ on Sifted quoting Sandra Djajic (also known as @TakoTreba). πŸ˜ƒ Should we work more now that AI might be threatening businesses? Or should we work less (but smarter)? That is indeed the question, as burnout might be around the corner if you don't watch out.

Working in Outlook this morning with a client, teaching her how to stay organized. She has been experiencing a lot of stress and trouble signing off for the night. Even after work hours, her head is still working. I'm hopeful she will be able to let go from now on. And you as well! 😊

So, how many breaks do you all take on average per day? Short breaks, lunch breaks, sunbathing breaks, playing with the kid breaks, coffee breaks, snack breaks... And what is the average length? I need some inspiration for a lesson I'm writing. Or maybe I just need a break. πŸ€ͺ

One of the downsides of easily finding pages in my Notion with search (Cmd-P) is that I forget the structure I once laid out. The same problem with having shortcuts in any app, for that matter. I guess it's time I rediscover the structure I once invented. What are you doing today?

Starting with the next module of 50x Smarter: Outlook. First stop? A lesson on cleaning up the interface. Because less is more. Or maybe I should say 'Less is less'. As in 'less clutter on your screen is less distraction. And isn't that what we all need?

Something cool happened last week. After publishing an article on Medium on my unexpectedly successful launch on Uneed, Startup Stash asked me if they could publish it. Of course, I said yes! πŸ˜ƒ So, it was delivered to +6000 followers.

I screwed up. Again. While making notes on one of yesterday's coaching session, it hit me that I made the same mistake as my client. I was way too optimistic when scheduling my day. πŸ˜… The result: several things didn't get done. It's not a problem. But it is something to improve. πŸ“ˆ

She is right. As a founder, you just can't escape stress as a founder. "(...) Instead of trying to tick every self-care box to zen our way out of stress, or divide our time perfectly, we need to be realistic. We can’t do it all.” Molly Johnson-Jones on improving founders' mental health.

The way we look at things determines how we act. Sometimes we don't act at all, because we think it can't be done. But if you change your perspective and your mindset, you might find you can accomplish more than you ever thought.

I'll settle for that last Inbox Seth mentions. How about you?
