It's funny: when I was a younger engineer I thought I knew everything, I was mostly wrong, and I was mostly insufferable for it. Now I never want to assume I'm right: so I'm insufferable in the other direction where I don't want to act correct even when folks are looking for direction.

I'm lucky that bowl-back mandolin's aren't popular, it's the one thing saving me from my instrument acquisition syndrome adding another weird stringed instrument to my wall!
