All these people screaming “Do your own research” need to remember that there is a right way to research and a wrong way. Finding a bunch of people who agree with you on reddit is not doing your own research and if you think it is then you need to retake your English writing classes.

🧵:Every time I see some1 on social media say something like: "Dems and Republicans are just two sides of the same coin," "They're both just doing the bidding of their corporate donors/puppet Masters" "Dems gave up on the working class," I just roll my eyes and think: Really? Here we go again 🙄...

If we just change the name of banned books to something the alt right likes we could get them unbanned. They only read the covers anyway so not like they’ll ever figure it out!

I do not use the phrase “Free Palestine” because its meaning is shrouded in ambiguity and interpretation which makes it easy to argue with and distract from the actual issue. I prefer to say Justice for Palestine because it is much easier to defend against bad faith arguments.

Admittedly, I have no formal training in Naginata, but I wanted to get a feel of the weapon because I heard it operates with similar mechanics to a sword. So I just experimented for a bit.

I feel like people have forgotten that good research is a skill you must practice, develop, and learn from schools or maybe your local reference librarian. “Do your research” means very little coming from someone who doesn’t know how to find a reliable source.
