Guys, don't you just hate it when you go for a pee and end up with a divided stream? Saturday musings. 🤣

A little contribution I made to the book "200 Stories of Railway Pride" to mark 200 years of the Railway in the UK. Lots of contributions for LGBTQ+ staff members. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🚂

This image brings Michelle (my late sister) to mind. She actually did this and I loved her even more as a result. ❤️

Spot on! We all know gay men who can do drama very well, but they don't even come close to these bitchy old queens.

Great video! Wearing or displaying Pride colours is not about political correctness or being woke, as some might claim. It simply demonstrates that you are a respectful person and it tells LGBT+ people "you are safe with me." When there is so much intolerance and hatred, that truly means a lot. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Opened up the news website. Scanned the headlines and promptly closed the news website. I can't do news (or what passes for news) right now. It's just shit and death every single day.

Wouldn't you just hate that Dad? 🤣

As a middle aged gay man, I am very aware that all of the rights and freedoms I now enjoy came about as a result of campaigning and struggle (often by previous generations of the LGBT+ community). I'm also very aware of how those rights and freedoms can be eroded. The struggle continues - #IDAHOBIT

A heartbreaking news story. 😢 It would be awful to lose Blackbirds and their beautiful melodies. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Just been observing our Greyhound Maggie taking a drink of water and this image summed it up. 😂 Rich Skipworth created some fantastic observations on Greyhound ownership.

Does anybody else get really stressed out when things are sprung on you without notice? I plan my diary very carefully to stay on track, but since arriving at work I have had two last minute changes to deal with (one for today and the other Friday) and now I'm stressed and antsy.

Sadly true. We can always find billions more for war.

The worst thing about having COVID... it's put me right behind with my ironing. Today I will be...

Huh. Who knew?

More of this needed. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Married ten years today. I honestly don't know how he puts up with me, but I love him even more because he does. Our wedding was low-key (how we wanted it) and we don't normally make a big deal of our anniversary, but COVID has properly ruined it this year.

I thought I had a bit of a cold, but no. It got me in the end.

Today's headlines dominated by the death of a humble leader who raised awareness of important issues and humanitarian causes; a leader who tried to make a positive difference. Rather that, than endless coverage of the maniacal manoeuvres of the egotistical US "leader" www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Can't believe a week has passed since we were at the Piccadilly Theatre watching Moulin Rouge. This year is flying by.

The UK Supreme Court’ ruling is disappointing, but let's remember that the humanity and identity of trans people soars way above any legal definitions. Delving into nasty social media rants today will do no good. Today is a day for the outpouring love and kindness to our trans friends.

OMG! I've just come across one of the poems I recited for my effective speech and drama award at the age of 11. I'd almost forgotten about this. The final line of the second stanza held many a hidden meaning. 🙂

*Some* British people on social media: "Isn't it awful what Trump is doing?" Same people: "I'm voting Reform"

It's my husbands birthday today. He is 50. Not that he has mentioned it. 😁
