Always wondered how the Star Wars Emperor could start with a battle-hardened army and end up with an "entire legion of his best troops" being beaten to death by teddybears with sticks. Then Hegseth ended up as US Defence Sec. And now yeah that makes sense.

So far as I can see, criticism of Starmer boils down to a wish that Trump were not President and that UK didn't have to deal with US. We all wish it. It's sadly not so. We're in the same car.
