We could have had a chunk of that as members😮‍💨 www.ft.com/content/f28b...

More pressure to do something about trade with the EU. But it will be ignored or blamed on war, climate, sun spots etc. All have had an effect but it can be alleviated, Starmer. I'm waiting 🤨 www.independent.co.uk/life-style/f...

A lot of sense here. We need to get all our heads together to defeat the right and move the rejoin argument forward. youtu.be/S-rhx1hRIW4?...

What the crap 🤯 Water rates bill just dropped for this year. A jump of near £250 from last and breaks the thousand £ barrier. What with the expected council rates rise, energy cap rise it's going to be close to £750 rise overall. How the fuck do they expect people to manage this 😡 My pay, 0% rise.

If I'm reading this right, they are saying that worker protections, health & safety standards, the environment, and more all need to be sacrificed to an extent to grow Europe's economy. It's funny how little people need to suffer for corporate profit. www.ft.com/content/13a8...

Incredible.

Are we the only country on the planet brown nosing Trump. Very disappointing, Starmer 🤨 www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli...

Father in law is spiralling into depression. He sits and watches daytime tv all day. Politics live, Vine and more agitating him all day with immigrants this, Starmer that, economy the other. He's sure Labour is out to get 'old folk'. We've asked him to watch something lighter, to no avail.

'F' OFF Clarkson. Do for rejoin what you did for farming, then we're all f#cked. www.standard.co.uk/showbiz/jere...

Brexit making the headlines.

Bike dripping in condensation, corroding away before your eyes in a damp garage or shed !? I bought a cheap reciprocating fan and a plug-in timer, set it for an hour on, hour off for 12 hours during the day. Magic. Dry bike, and indeed dry garage 😃😃 Now, I'm just waiting for some salt free roads 👍👍

A lot of people are having a go at Labour/Starmer. Don't get me wrong, they have been shockingly poor with some very tory like policy decisions, but what's the alternative? For those shouting at Starmer. Who's going replace him and, more importantly change course ? If you are shouting at labour,..

Yet more fucking red lines, and they're not even tory ones. 😤😡😡 www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Were are we on Trumps tariff attack and desire for Canada to become the 51st state of America ? After all, is Canada not part of the 'Commonwealth'.

And another thing. Listening to 'The News Agents' (really good) The other day, I hear our home secretary unable to call out or condemn Trumps threats against fellow NATO members to grab territory by force if required to be unacceptable. He wouldn't say if we'd defend Denmark 🤯😡 Limp tw#t

I know who's getting my vote next time round. They would have got it last time if it wasn't my tactical vote to get the Tories out. www.bbc.com/news/article...

The end is nigh, people. It's Skynet in real life 😲😉 www.independent.co.uk/tech/ai-red-...

Remember when documentaries were this good, this hard-hitting, this factual. NO, then you are too young. WORLD IN ACTION. youtu.be/95qLDc7zwYY?...

The country is in a hole and it's a big one. People are pissed with the Tories and disappointingly, Labour. Our situation is All both their faults. Short term policies that don't serve the majority, a 5 year, 2 party system that is now not fit for purpose but neither want to change it.

I wrote to my new labour MP 4 months ago, congratulating her on her election and raising some brexit issues. I am still awaiting a reply. I used to write to my long-standing tory MP on the same issues. He would reply, disingenuously but a reply. The 1970s was the last labour MP here...

Hope to see you on the other side of storm Éowyn 😬
