Why can’t Trump, Vance or Rubio simply say this? Why won’t they?

Nothing to see here but Florida's royal family laundering public funds into the royal family's campaign slush fund. www.tampabay.com/news/florida...

“Erik Prince wants to cut a deal to transport detainees from the US to El Salvador *** The proposal would “target ‘criminal illegal aliens’” and “attempt to avoid legal challenges by designating part of the prison…as American territory.” 4/11/25 1/

Basically: I don’t think people understand that 36 hours from now it’s possible that America will have a formalized system for abducting enemies of the regime and stashing them in foreign gulags, indefinitely. www.thebulwark.com/p/bukele-abr...

NEW: DOGE reverses change that made its claims near-impossible to check. www.nytimes.com/2025/03/18/u...

NEW: DOGE is falling far short of its goals — and still drastically over-stating its success. Here’s why: www.nytimes.com/2025/04/13/u...

No administration in American history, not Jackson w/ Indian removal, not Lincoln in Merryman, not FDR over the New Deal, not Truman in Youngstown, not Nixon over the tapes, not Bush with Guantanamo, has openly defied a court order like this, much less one unanimously endorsed by the Supreme Court.

Yesterday they refused to answer two of the three questions ordered. Today's refuses to address, in any way, all three. None of this has anything to do with the order. This is open defiance of a district court backed by a unanimous three-judge circuit ruling and a unanimous 9-0 Supreme Court ruling.

How New Washington works: Companies have been bilking the govts out of billions for "skin bandages" that don't do much Biden moved to crack down Then a company donated $2M to Trump super-PAC After that, Trump publicly praised the product, and froze the crackdown www.nytimes.com/2025/04/10/h...

The Trump administration has canceled a Biden-era agreement requiring the state of Alabama to clean up raw sewage in poor, Black, rural communities where filthy toilet water has been flowing directly into the yards of homes where children play.

Trump is also saying that the once the US has rounded up individuals, with minimal or zero due process, on whatever pretext they choose, they can send them out of the US to face torture, death, life imprisonment, slave labor or other fates that are unconstitutional or illegal in the US.

Here's what we're reading today: The U.S. has reportedly demanded control of a key pipeline in Ukraine that used to transport Russian gas to Europe. This follows U.S.-Ukraine talks on Friday about a proposed mineral deal, in which the U.S. demands more than the previous draft.

Keep talking about the Signal security lapse at the Pentagon. The media may have forgotten about it, but the voters have not.

Trump just denied North Carolina’s request for FEMA relief from Hurricane Helene, calling it “unwarranted.”

As I’ve said, yes, this was their aim all along. That’s why they didn’t just send these people to Gitmo. This is an attempt to find a step beyond Gitmo where the court says, “Well, our hands are tied.” It’s an awful, lawless gambit that must fail, but that is what they want it to be.

Is there any link between the Trump admin’s “deal” with El Salvador and Bukele’s plan for a “Bitcoin City,” which was going to be scaled back in order to receive loans from the IMF — and Trump admin’s plans to use gold reserves to buy Bitcoin? Or all just coincidence theweek.com/business/eco...

Not for nothing, but how, exactly, is it legal to send people for *punishment* in a foreign prison (esp with no due process)? Were the funds being used for it appropriated for this purpose? I feel this has just become a thing no one questions
