You’d think they’d be ashamed to drag out the old “could hurt the very people they are intended to help” line. Oligarchs have used that script to scare people away from progressive policies for decades, but it’s stopped working because people see what happens when policies favor the super-rich.

Yikes. Crane failures are rare and typically preventable issues of human error. I hope no one died but these are not usually casualty-free events. Sure hope this was an extraordinary situation and not a by-product of corner-cutting from a Musk-affiliated business 😳

Today I read about an interesting candidate for a race in another part of the country. I tried to go to his website to learn more about him and he only has a fundraising page. There's nowhere to learn about where he stands on the issues, just a form to enter your credit card information.
