I appreciate that Regina has given up on painting lane lines on our roads. Just paint em with your heart

On the latest Queen City Improvement Bureau: What makes a city awesome? Surprise! It isn't parking! … with the Queen City Urbanist Bookclub. #yqrcc

The latest Queen City Improvement Bureau is awesome and it's on youtube now. #yqrcc

Literal monarchist talk.

The USA isn't just on a path towards being universally hated around the world, it's also fast becoming irrelevant. I fear it will destroy a lot as it goes down but I also expect that w/in my lifetime it'll become dried out & forgettable like post-imperial Britain.

We had so much fun! I hope this spurs some more people to join our Book Club and come have discussions with us!!! *wink wink* Thank you to Aiden and Paul for being the best people in Regina ❤️ cathedralvillage.org/adult-progra...

Seriously, if you're looking for upbeat locally focused news & commentary, this is the episode for you. It was really fun. And not in a milquetoast kinda way. We go pretty hard w/ our responses to the regressive council agenda we're starting to see from Clrs Burton, Bezo, Tskilis & Rashovich.

New Queen City Improvement Bureau. We got a visit from Jon & Kelly from the QC Urbanist Bookclub. It was a delightful conversation. And super informative. We discuss city building books, plus some concerns & some reasons for optimism with the new council. #yqrcc

Threat to pedestrians = drivers Threat to people on bikes = drivers Threat to those using mobility devices = drivers Threat to drivers = drivers We must continue to prioritize drivers.

I love that the answer from the Left to the question "What should we do this election?" is still "What we really need is electoral reform."

More advice on resisting fascism from the SIMPLE SABOTAGE FIELD MANUAL: 11. General Interference with Organiations and Production - Organizations & Conferences a. Insist on doing everything through "channels." Never permit short-cuts to be taken in order to expedite decisions. /1

FINALLY! Somebody with some practical advice on what to actually do. When the fascist clown car rolls into your town or workplace, incorporate these tips into your daily life!

Star Wars if it wasn't a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away and more now and here.

I love that the answer from the Left to the question "What should we do this election?" is still "What we really need is electoral reform."

Ironically, I can’t read the article because it’s pay walled.

Yes. This.

It's long past time for the "CAN YOU BELIEVE TRUMP SAID…?" or "CAN YOU BELIEVE MUSK DID…?" type posts. Yes. Yes, I can believe it. Now what?

In Ottawa, I'd hear people from Toronto or Montreal complain about how boring the capital is. After 18 years in Regina that complaint seems so precious. Ottawa is hella fun. The music scene alone kicks all kinds of ass.

When I lived in Ottawa, Montreal was already so easy to get to it was almost impossible to not go there semi-regularly — even if just for the bagels. Linking these cities more tightly only makes each of them more interesting places to live.

Alberta, meanwhile, is squandering time and a money on a hyperloop between Edmonton & Calgaray that won't ever work. edmontonglobal.ca/news/ultra-h...
