Thankfully we don't have the same proliferation in UK of firearms (or at least not semi-automatics) as in the US. Despite this we need to continue to guard against anyone who may want to copy school shootings. (Or indeed any shootings of course.) www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025...

There are many aspects to comms that the NHS must improve. There is admin (eg managing appts) discussed in this article. There is also the comms with family about the care of loved ones. There is also the need to show patients/family are truly being listening to www.theguardian.com/society/2025...
