These rules are really fantastic news for Massachusetts housing. The state has adopted almost all of the most important aspects California's nation-leading state ADU reforms; so I would not be at all surprised if we see a pretty major ADU boom in the Boston suburbs over the next few years.

Thank you @jdotj.bsky.social and @gokp.bsky.social for the emergency episode!

Its nice to see good things still happening even when there is a lot of shit news.

Look at his cute little face:

So if you charge vehicles a nominal fee you don't even have to spend hundreds of millions to make biking safe? Huh. www.reddit.com/r/Micromobil...

"Boxcar buses normally make five stops across Manhattan before going through the Lincoln Tunnel during the afternoon commute, which used to take about 30 minutes. In the first few days of the week, Colangelo said, it took 12 to 14 minutes." www.northjersey.com/story/news/t...

I don't know if the LA fire department is properly funded or not but the claim that the city cut its budget last year — which is circulating widely on the right — is false. As Politico notes, the budget actually INCREASED by $50 million. A portion of the funding was approved in a separate bill.
