“how much can possibly happen when I’m on parental leave” I asked in January of 2025 anyway uh I have a new job just in time for President Trump’s tank parade www.theatlantic.com/newsletters/...

I’m not avoiding my problems. I’m giving them space to grow into bigger, more impressive problems.

I…maybe needed to see this right now

Instagram guy I originally followed bc he's half of a photogenic cute gay couple continues to deliver better political analysis than most of us terminally online bsky politics posters.

you say Steinbeck, this is the picture in my head

Teachable moment.

My favourite Harrison Ford interview ‘I've been saving it just for you, man.’ www.hollywoodreporter.com/feature/harr...

If Donald Trump and Elon Musk were both on fire and you only had one fire extinguisher, where would you hide it?

Musk should have realised; Trump always cheats his contractors.

Wondering how I did it? I boiled water and added two tablespoons of vinegar, baking soda, and lemon juice. I soaked it for 20 minutes, and after that, it looked the same, so I bought a brand new one.

Does anyone know if the guy who came up with the phrase, "One Hit Wonder," ever came up with any other phrases?

They're playing all the hits at work today, including such bangers as "This meeting is super urgent so I've rearranged your whole day and then cancelled it", "Why haven't you done that thing I didn't tell you I needed?", and the ever popular "Why does this report contain the data I asked for?"

I am a medical doctor. I know when I'm feeling the strain. I don't know a single colleague who doesn't know when they're feeling the strain. The problem is not identifying the stress. The problem is getting fucking management to acknowledge and do something about it.

I’m in Weston-super-Mare, twinned with Champion the Wonder Horse.

Incredible work from everyone involved here
