anyone ever use lit.dev ? today was my first time hearing about it. #webDev #frontEnd #webComponents

I'm really upset that I can't see autostereograms. ☹️

Godot 4.4 has reached the Release Candidate stage! All features are in, critical regressions fixed, and it’s ready for production use. We still need your help testing, so give it a try (remember to make backups!) and let us know if you find any issues 🚀 godotengine.org/article/rele...

I've never heard concentration camps being called that before. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

I think the best approach to job hunting now is "give me a job or I'll create a startup to compete with you".

Wow - Delphi has been around for 30 years. I still think it was the best software development platform and was way ahead of its time.

Bun 1.2 🤯

We're screwed.

Yeah fucking more of this please!

There is hope! edition.cnn.com/2025/02/07/s...

The audacity of Trump complaining that the South African government is confiscating land IN South Africa (which they're not) while threatening to take Canada, Greenland, Gaza and a part of Panama by force. 😒

Are you new to Lit & need a jump start? Or are you a Lit veteran & can't quite remember that _one_ callback name? Well do we have the article for you! We've just published the Lit Cheat Sheet! An article that has a bunch of quick code snippets for all sorts of code patterns lit.dev/articles/lit...

Happy 25th birthday to The Sims!

Do Americans not realize that their "democracy" is about to be overthrown and they need to actually do something about it, now?

Fun fact - South African Sign Language (SASL) is one of the 12 official languages in South Africa.

I suppose we needed a little spot of load shedding to remind us that we're not immortal. ☹️

I hope everyone outside of the USA is changing their buying habits in protest against those companies that have supported Dorito Mussolini and his sidekick. #Boycott

What did people do in the toilet before mobile phones?

This is why most African countries have thrown in their lot with China and Russia - they're the more reliable and sensible option.

Great - load shedding is back! 🤬

And bog standard Material Design or Tailwind is a competitive advantage. 😒

I've come to the conclusion that most modern software is an unmanageable pile of over-engineered shit that is needlessly complicated. This extends from the platforms, through the frameworks (worst offenders) and into the end-user applications.

Why do people have to make my job so difficult? 🤬
