First box of three - cleaned up a bunch of games from Dads garage and attic. The Rainbird Music System in there cost £36.95 back in 1986!!

This is the unboxed sampler I used to make the Robocop samples on the 8 bits…

Looking at all this Freeze hardware I had back in the day for protecting the Ocean/Imagine games it just struck me that I bought every piece of hardware, drives, synchro copiers, ROM burners and software with my own money! Ocean never bought me any of the stuff they wanted to protect against :o)

More treasure to dig through when I have some time. A bazillion c64 games, source listings and bits of c64 hardware to sort through.

Genius!

Remember Robocop on the 8-bits saying "Robocop" and "Serve the public trust, Protect the Innocent, Uphold the Law"? This is the very device I sampled the speech with from a Robocop preview I recorded from Entertainment Tonight on Sky Astra! More finds from Dad's garage last night!

I appear to have source code print-outs for Rambo, Arkanoid and Mutants along with various listings of Parallax up in my Dad's attic. Probably means I do have the digital copies on that ST hard drive I found last year. Loads of original C64 and Amiga games up there in boxes too.

Sorting through Dad's garage... found all sorts... Loads of old source code printouts too - I feel I may be in there for some time!

RIP Bill Atkinson. He created most of the early Mac's user interface idioms, and also MacPaint and Hypercard, who were amazing innovations at that time. His signature, along with that of original Macintosh team members, are engraved inside my old Mac SE's box.
