All these Congressmen demanding an investigation and for Noem/Patel to come testify-what actually can come of that? They ask a bunch of mean questions and the Trump cabinet screws with them in their answers. They couldn't even enforce their own subpoenas for Jan 6. What are these people doing?

Watching the Bulwark lady express amazement that Noem didn't ack Padilla as a colleague...well, this IS the problem. Why can't these "experts" just call these thing exactly what they are. Noem is performing for Trump always. Find a way to communicate that only. Clutching pearls is a losing strategy.

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory. Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.
