I've been out of work since mid Dec but starting a new job in just over a week. Looking forward to it but I'm gonna fit in a lot of Monster Hunter before I go back.

My WiiU stopped launching games so I've spent some time today modding it. Now it's running games again just fine and I've even managed to install the English Captain Rainbow patch to my disc copy of the game. #WiiuWednesday

Picked this up for £4! JetForce Gemini on N64. I played a bunch of this back in the day but only borrowed/rented it so it's nice to have a copy. Never did finish it so would like to fix that.

I picked up Ninja Gaiden Black and finished it for the first time. 20 years late but I had a great time with it. Pretty tough at the start but it gets easier when you have all the weapons and upgrades. Might have to check out 2 now since it's had the remake treatment.

Game #4 of 2025 - Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore. I picked this up as I love how goofy the cd-i Zelda games are. I think this pays a great homage to them but also delivers a very fun game. This is a game that just clicks for me. I ended up playing through 4 times and getting the platinum!

3rd Game of the year finished! Sonic X Shadow Generations. I missed Sonic Generations when it first came out so it was a treat to play it for the first time. This was the first 3d Sonic I've played since Unleashed so it was nice to get back into the franchise.

I'm almost a year late but Tekken 8 is excellent. I'm loving it and just hit the platinum (which is quite easy to obtain). First game finished of 2025 but I'll still keep playing it.

10 years ago I got the New Nintendo 3DS ambassador edition console. Those faceplates and boxes went into storage to keep them as good as new but I played that console so much. I loved getting new faceplates and ended up with quite a big collection.
