Yes, it does need an internet connection, but I generally have that. I'm either writing at home on my desktop computer, or if I'm out and about, I am writing on my tablet (I have a keyboard cover). And it can download the files to your own computer as a back up if you want.

I use Google Docs. It lets me work from anywhere, automatically saves to the cloud, and it let's me put a link in one document to a specific heading in another document.

Ironic, considering that Vulcan's have copper based blood.

I don't know if my need to write came from a book. I've always felt the urge to get stories out of me and onto the page.

Over nine THOUSAND words in one day? Holy moly, that's incredible!

... the villain making so many easily avoidable mistakes that it is beyond belief. Get rid of the transphobia and make it a cartoon, and it MIGHT work. But as it is, this movie does not work. While the transphobia at the end is by far the biggest problem, there are many others. I'd give it a 4/10.

... as a major plot point in the finale and played off as a joke, and it just doesn't hold up. Despite the inclusion of a few (just a few) genuinely funny moments, this film has aged extremely badly. The acting is often over the top, humour is almost always forced, and the plot relies on...

Final thoughts... This movie did NOT age well. This was Carrey's first major movie, and it comes across as little more than a vehicle for his goofball antics and cartoonish overacting, of which there are spades here. Add the disgusting transphobia which is made even worse by it being used...

BTW, I did NOT recognise Tiny Ron. He was one of Einhorn's goons.

Hang on, Melissa and Emilio have to leave the Superbowl to go and save Ace at the yacht shed, and then they get Snowflake back in time to do that stunt before the end of the game? Shouldn't they have, I don't know, TAKEN THE DOLPHIN TO A VET OR SOMETHING?

And of course, the whole thing hinges on Einhorn losing the stone in the tank so Ace can find it in the filter. But why wear the ring when kidnapping Snowflake? And why even go to the crime when that's what your goons are for? Stay as far away from the crime as possible.

More transphobia at the reveal. Man, that did NOT age well at all.

Apparently Dan Marino spots the giveaway because he's seeing Einhorn from behind. But none of the many police officers who were also behind Einhorn saw it?
comment in response to post
And how exactly did Einhorn manage to tuck things away without everybody seeing?

And apparently all the cops just instantly forgot there was a cop being held hostage while they watched Ace explain things...

I mean, did that sound plausible to ANYONE when they were making this movie?

What you wouldn't read about is how Ray Finkle lost his mind, was committed to a mental hospital only to escape and join the police force under the assumed identity of a missing hiker, manipulating his way to the top of a diabolical scheme to get even with Dan Marino whom he blamed the entire thing!

The best thing Melissa and Emilio could think of is to make all the other cops think Melissa was holding a cop hostage? REALLY?
comment in response to post
So the cops come in, they see Ace fighting with Einhorn, Ace makes a move to get a gun, and none of the cops with their guns drawn shoots him? REALLY?

Mobile phones could cause tumors. Just another thing that has aged badly... But I guess mobile phones were so new then, we just didn't know... We know better now. (A phrase that applies to quite a bit about this movie.)

Genius move, Ace, knock out the bad guy using a method that makes a loud noise so the other bad guy comes to investigate with a gun... 🙄
comment in response to post
More silly acting as Ace sneaks in to the shed where Marino is being held. And not good silly.

And, needless to say, the reaction of every character when they discover Einhorn is Finkle is transphobic as fuck. No. Just no. There's a lot about this movie that has aged badly, but this transphobia as a joke is by far the worst.

I mean, weren't they trying to lay low? What if someone pieced together the name? Surely the background checks to be a cop would have revealed something suspicious. Why get a job that would put you in the public eye like that?
