The very worst ppl (including someone with a conviction for extreme violence) have been saying hateful things about the rainbow community to coincide with the protest today. This needs to be a criminal offence. Our society will not survive without taking on the merchants of hate and their enablers.

The extreme right is splintering, and some factions are adopting anti-free speech positions. Some of them argue it shouldn't be legal to have a political party based around race (but they are okay with the Women's Rights Party). You should be able to make a political party with any policy platform.

This is utterly deplorable. Dame Jenny made her submission as a private citizen. Obviously, it had more gravitas as she is a former prime minister. She doesn't have to declare any conflict because there can't be any. She enjoys freedom of thought and association. He doesn't ask this of TERFs!

We are juggling too many balls right now, but the below merits a referral to the HRC. If any of you want to, report it under the racial disharmony category. It would be a good test case for a hate speech case. Specifically, the "This is suicide via immigration" comment is highly actionable.

Well, well, well, according to this OIA I just got back from Goldsmith, Roger Partridge, chair of the NZ Initiative (a member of the ATLAS network), suggested Dr Derby to Goldsmith. Nothing is wrong with this technically, but interestingly, she wasn't put forward earlier in the process.

Drawing a plainly obvious parallel: The Nazis did not censor certain art outright at first. Initially they just barred it from state-affiliated events. Several years on, they labeled it degenerate, mocked it, decried it as dangerous, and only then made laws formally censoring it.

I want to ask something of you all: whenever you see the word "woke" substitute "universal human rights" in your mind. Brian is against human rights - he has said explicitly that he wants to take us back to the 1950s when women couldn't get safe abortions, a bank account, or a no-fault divorce.
