I find all sorts of junk buried in my yard. Just brought this up out of the dirt.

Teach your children that Columbo discovered America.

There is so much wisdom in the old tomes.

A Walking Dead remake where all the zombies look like this.

It's not going to be enough to abolish ICE. There are going to need to be prosecutions.

New Superman moving is looking good.

Super annoying fly that was buzzing around this room for the last hour and a half just had the total audacity to land in my open palm. It paid dearly for this lapse in judgement.

Genuinely fascinated by this Sukia cover. All the thoughts that go with it. What do they all talk about when they get together? Who sends out the invites? Do they text? Do they have each others addresses? Did they have to rent a room at a convention hotel? Dress code? Who DIDN'T get invited?

So, I guess Sukia the Vampire Lady needs to fight Dude From Dallas? A classic battle.

Thinking of a hero I knew and admired.

Remembering the ~4,400 heroes (Americans, Canadians, and British) who lost their life on those northern France beaches on #DDay 81 years ago today. Their sacrifice and the sacrifice of those who made it through helped ending WW2 and the nazi-fascist control of Europe.

"If you want to kiss someone, kiss Penny!" Ah, the trials of life when five ghosts have it bad for you. 🥰 "Heart Acres" is a winner. The dialogue pops, the art is adorable, and the story - and the romantic relationships within it - grows more complex. It's love, life, and death. Brilliant.

I'm looking through an auction catalog and the framing / cropping of these two different pieces made my mind creak for a moment.

Ran across "70's Rogue" by Gérard Parel and now all I want to do is write this series.

Sorry, but...what?

Yeah, I'm looking at Alberto Breccia art, again. A page from Mort Cinder.

Life decisions.

Finally putting the truth out there.

Bleh. 5 in the morning and I just saw off my wife for her California vacation to visit her mom. Now I'm stuck between "go back to bed" or "get to work." Both seem incorrect.

Editors, writers, artists, kickstarters, I'm having a bit of a lull in my workload so I'm looking for a few new projects to work on. I'm an Eisner nominated, veteran comic book letterer who loves to be creative! Portfolio and email address here--thanks! comicbooklettering.tumblr.com

Wild Party, by Louis Fisher ~ 1960, with front and back cover art by Bill Ward.

While my wife packs for her vacation, I've been scanning an old issue of Exotique, because, as Mr. Rogers said, "Look for the helpers."

My wife is about to leave for five days, a process that demands her trying to remember what to pack, cursing airline regulations, and making heavy sighs, the latter of which will help with weight restrictions.

It's always a little awkward when I run across one of those "you've been having sex all wrong!" articles and I have to call up every girl I've ever kissed AGAIN and say, "hey, yeah...sorry. You gotta come back for a bit."

The incredibly distinctive and lively art of Oscar Liebman.
