For me, she will forever be Joann "Oh Wow" Owosekun!

That's not intuitive eating. If that's what it looks like, then whoever advised you missed a few steps...

Probably my all time favourite Madonna video

My most surprising moment was going to 7eleven to buy a sweet snack and not buying anything because there wasn't anything on offer that I actually felt like

That's the part I struggle with the most too. Sometimes, I serve myself less but give myself permission to have more. But the best technique is to pause when you're halfway through to check in with your fullness cues. When I do that, it's much easier to not finish

Must be a US English thing. For me (AU English) it is still Gulf of Mexico. Will be interesting to see what happens.

I always preferred the bun

Happy to report that Apple Maps haven't been affected yet

It's a bad thing. Because of a lack of oversight quality control is virtually non-existent and there's no back up required to make health claims. They can say anything. Here's a study of a small number of supplements. The results are shocking! jamanetwork.com/journals/jam...

Did you read the information available via the link you posted. All the material says you have to be in the United States legally. It reiterates it a lot. Show me where it says illegals can get it?

The Autons, particularly the shop dummies are the only doctor who monstrous ever had nightmares about as a kid. So creepy!

There's a lot more to intuitive eating than those phrases. There seem to be lots of people who haven't actually spoken to an intuitive eating dietitian or at least read the book.

If you pay attention, it will. People tend to oversimplify what intuitive eating actually is

Holy Shit! That's outrageous! In Prahan! I have no further words...

Just waiting for someone to say "what about delivery drivers?" so I can point out the delivery van just to the right of centre of the pic

I bet the designer pitched half a dozen better, more creative options, but the client didn't actually want to change it in the end, so went with this half-assed option

Just did some research. Neither Australia nor NZ currently have high speed rail, but both have proposals in place with cost estimates, which is where these figures probably come from
comment in response to post
I'm speculating, but perhaps terrain. NZ is much more mountainous than Australia, so more bridges and tunnels needed. I'd be interested in how they define "high speed rail" because we don't really have any high speed rail in Australia

I knew someone would have said this before me. 18 blocks is nothing, even if they are a couple of avenues over. Faster than driving, I bet.

You haven’t explained why they can’t get there
comment in response to post
Absolutely, some people will need help. That’s why some cars are allowed 😉 take a taxi and you don’t even need to worry about parking!
comment in response to post
In what way? Other than you can’t drive through it on the way to somewhere else.

So what’s your problem? They changed enough to make it a better place for everyone. Is the fact that there are a couple of cars supposed to be some sort of gotcha? If anything it dispels the “what about deliveries?” “What about people with mobility issues” arguments against this sort of change
comment in response to post
Not sure what your point is
comment in response to post
This is what people misunderstand. Pedestrianised streets are very rarely 100% car free. Deliveries, local residents, people with mobility issues, even taxis are allowed. But you notice in this pic pedestrians still walk on the street comfortably. It’s about sharing.
comment in response to post
They were streets long before cars existed.

And yet everyone who claims that they love Disney's Main Street USA would fight to the death to prevent it happening in their town, lest they lose the right to circle the block 10 times so they can park in front of the store they want to go to

The same could be said for both photos.

IMO, they botched the launch of threads by not having it ready enough for the influx of users and what looks like deliberate limitations on pictures and videos in an attempt to not cannibalise their instagram membership This is pure speculation, but blue sky's emulation of the old twitter is perfect

It's more about the weather for me. If I could move to a planet that had moderate temperatures and no humidity all the time, I'd start packing immediately
comment in response to post
Autumn. Moderate temperature, less rain and pretty if you have deciduous trees around...

Such a shame that the mere mention of a project like this brings out such strong opposition. They'll go on about things like parking, not even noticing that this proposal removes exactly zero parking spots.

Pretty sure disabled people are better accommodated now than before. Much more room for wheelchairs and other transport options
comment in response to post
The before photo has less people in it. Just cars
